  Google classroom as a ICT tool

Firstly, Google classroom is a suite of online tools that allows teachers to set assignments, have work submitted by students, to mark and to return graded papers. It was created as a way to eliminate paper in classes and to make digital learning possible. There are some of the advantages and disadvantages of google classroom.

 The advantages are; 

-it is easy to use and it is accessible from any device. 

-It has effective communication, commenting and sharing system which are very effective in providing feedbacks by teachers on students' works. 

As for the disadvantages:

- each user need to have their own google account-

 it is accessible only when there is internet connection.

As an activity, we made our own google classroom account considering ourselves to be a teacher and we chose a subject of our choice and class. We then invited our friends as students and two friends as co-teacher. We also posted the introduction of the subject we chose and weekly plan of the topics. looking at all the features as a future teacher, I think this can make the work of a teacher easy while conducting classroom through online.

When there was a covid pandemic, we had to attend classes through google classroom. We were assigned with home works, assignments and even asked doubts through the google classroom. It was indeed a very useful tool, We were able to continue classes even during the pandemic.

Laptop as ICT tool

Laptop is a very good ICT tool. Laptops are embraced because of the technological tools they offer combined with their portability. Not only are they becoming more popular for home use, but many schools are starting to incorporate them into their classrooms as well. There are so many features on laptop that we can use for different purposes. Such as doing assignment, listening to music, watch videos/movies, browse internet and many more. Besides all these, as a student there are more so many advantages of laptop. 

Such as: 

1. Supplement of old textbooks

2. Improves writing skills

3. Facilitates quicker learning

4. Enhances collaboration.

5.  Make a students life easier. 

6. Do assignments 

7. Make presentations and many more

Cap Cut- Video Editing

 Cat Cut is a video editing tool that millions of people use all across the world to edit videos. It contains so many editing tools and features that are very helpful for us while editing. We can crop, put animations, enter texts, use stickers, put up various filters and so many things. This editing app can be used in educational field as well. I guess this will be really helpful to teachers as well as it is one the most easiest app to be used. Teachers can use this app to edit videos and show it to their students. Whereas I, use cap cut to edit videos for my TikTok content. Everyday I edit a video related to my favorite game-Mobile Legends Bang Bang. I record clips from the game and edit using the app. Besides editing for my TikTok content, I use it for my educational purposes as well whenever I have presentation or an assignment. 

Zoom Meeting: ICT Tool

 Have you ever imagined a life without digital tools? A life without facebook, messenger, or any other social media platforms? I know life will be hard. Like how you going to inform the other person about the current situation of your place in emergencies? Use the postman? He will probably take more than one to two days to reach the information to the other place. Forget about those, if there's a war or a pandemic in a place, how would have the students learn? Or take classes in that kind of situation? Like currently, the covid pandemic has broke out and every educational institutions are closed. During the pandemic, unlike in the olden days, we are able to continue our studies despite the situation using ICT tools such as zoom. Zoom is an app where many participants can take part in the video conference. Through zoom, we can interact with teachers and students despite the distance and the situation. We are able to learn effectively as if we are in normal classroom. At first, I didn't know zoom had such features. I thought it would be just like video call. It allows us to share screen as well. We are able to share our screen and present what we have to. Moreover, we can even play videos or pictures and let all the participant watch it. It is said that students learn best through visual and zoom provides us such a platform making teaching and learning environment effective. 

We can even break out in different room and set up for discussions. We are fortunate to continue our studies despite the distance and the pandemic. We would have faced some challenges in the future. 

Furthermore, we can not only use the zoom meeting for educational purposes but also for some official gatherings and so on.
